In this show I will shift between telling stories, exploring questions that arise from them and talking about different techniques and ways of working with stories as medicine.  I often re-write old tales into rhyme and sometimes I simply tell them off the tip of my tongue as the images inform the moment. Join me in exploring and discovering the worlds within words of these ancient cultural teachers called stories.  I have been traveling the world collecting instruments from all corners which I use to weave together quirky soundscapes layered with texture and emotion. I often use these "loops" to soundtrack the stories I tell.  Sometimes I might just let the sounds tell their own story.  I like to leave room to surprise myself and hopefully YOU.

Her vivid imagination was equally matched by strong psychic and healing abilities, which blossomed, with the help of several spritual teachers, as she matured, and which she has utilized to be of service to others in many places all over the world. Jewels is now a Certified Hypnotherapist, Reiki Practitioner, and has studied and practiced numerous other modalities of energetic and herbal/nutritional healing. She is also an author, visual artist/painter, and musician. Her life's goal is to better the Earth through conscious, sustainable living along with her husband, daughter and loved ones, to follow her heart and intuition above all else, and to remain in alignment with Spirit.
